In the same sense that Azor Ahai Reborn is unlikely to be the literal second coming of Azor Ahai, in either the reincarnation or “hey, it’s the actual physical body of Azor Ahai, resurrected and come again to save us” senses, so too does the potential return of Lightbringer not require the actual original Lightbringer sword. I’ve always assumed that if you fulfill the conditions to be AAR, your sword just kinda becomes Lightbringer.
