croclock asked: i dont think the situation with lollys was played for laughs at all... but of course cersei thinks is pathetic and laughable, while sansa thinks its terrible and cruel, for example. The fact that some characters think some things - such as rape - are funny or trivial doesn't mean the reader nor the author necessarily think so, i think?
