draculemihawks asked: I think Cersei has a lot more ambition than cunning, which is why she ended up in a cell. But yes, thank you for answering!! Could you tell me why you think it is Dany and Jaime, 100%?
I should say that by “cunning” I meant the combination of ambition and skullduggery, not necessarily that she’s successful in her gambits. Which maybe isn’t the dictionary definition of “cunning,” but fuck it, it’s a living language. Anyway I do take your point. :)
I think it’s Dany and Jaime because they fit the conditions of the prophecy — Jaime is her younger brother as well as Tyrion, and Dany is the one young queen consistently described as absolutely physically stunning and thus probably more beautiful than the quite beautiful Cersei. (I know people say Jaime’s golden hand can’t fit around Cersei’s throat, but I’m guess that with determination, creativity, and a little elbow grease, our boy will find a way.) But beyond that, and more importantly than that, they just make the most sense in literary terms. Ultimately a lot of these predictions are intuitive, based on the ineffable impressions left by the flow of the narrative thus far. To me, that flow suggests Dany and Jaime.
