I felt that his reputation made him seem like the kind of guy who could've helped Robb and friends play a little dirty against the Lannisters, when needed. That's what made his heel turn at the RW all the worse. Do you think that placing Arya with Tywin at Harrenhall changes this dynamic b/t Roose and the unread?
He treated Arya fine I guess, but wasn’t she constantly thinking “This is the most dangerous man I’ve ever met”? Everyone thinks that of him — that regardless of how softspoken he is, he’s absolutely terrifying. So I don’t think the tv-only people will have a vastly different experience if we bypass some material prior to his official heel turn.
