amplifyme asked: One of my favorite things about A Storm of Swords is Arya and the Hound's road trip, especially her final chapter with him and his "deathbed confession." It was such an emotionally rich and compelling scene, primarily because of the Hound's guilt over his inability to protect Sansa and what he saw as his less than honorable behavior towards her. Since D & D changed or omitted so much of the Sandor/Sansa dynamic in S2, how do you think they'll handle this scene on the show?
I don’t view the Hound’s past relationship with Sansa as a necessary component to the scene. He’s still a scary, angry, lonely man, with plenty of less than honorable behavior to repent for, and Arya’s still a slightly less scary, angry, lonely girl there to hear him and pass judgment. It’ll work fine.
